To create the composition of the washing line, I had to look at each individual item of clothing. I chose a selection of stereotypical items that would not only seem realistic but also gave room for different techniques.
After deciding on which items I would incorporate, I collected images for reference. Aspects were taken from these when drawing the design. Veneers and colour schemes were also matched.
Final designs were drawn up to be digitally manipulated.
The final composition was put together in Illustrator. The advantage of using digital manipulation is that it is a quick means of making adjustments and experimenting with colour.
