Creating My Art Foundation Final Piece

When eventually creating my final piece, the templates were drawn up on large pieces of photographic background paper then cut accordingly.
The groundwork for the veneer was 3.6mm ply and cut out on a bandsaw. Because of intricate detail in the design, a temporary base had to be made for the bandsaw to stop small pieces of wood jamming the blade.

Here is the damage I caused to the summerhouse when cutting out the marquetry.

To hang the washing line in the exhibition, blocks were glue to the groundwork and these were then screwed into the wall.
